Or you could do this /and/ the dailies if you’re trying to rep up as fast as possible. :)
I agree that if the rate of rep acquisition from the dailies is fast enough for you, this method is less efficient, but it was written when my server (which led the world event) was only in the early phases, so you couldn’t rep up nearly as fast. Now the entire event is completed, of course, it’s a different matter.

Ok, so I can either do dailies (solo) and make 1k rep in 30 minutes (made 4200 in 2 hours 15 minutes, last night) or I can do this (and have to find a mage) and make 240 rep? Hmmm, I’m not great at math but…..

No, the magisters _are_ definitely sheepable – I just got a mage friend to test it out to confirm.

Magister’s are immune to all CC except for Sap. Ie, under 6 you can’t sheep them.

I needed just over 200 rep to reach exalted so as a Shadow Priest I decided to have some fun and see how far I could get solo using Mind Control. I made it up to the first bosses room with 5 deaths, was pretty fun but expensive. :)
