I was hoping for a good time with Walt Simonson writing; he may be the most thoroughly gets-it guy in American comics when it comes to mythology and folklore feel. Dave's Long Box offers up a look at <a href="http://daveslongbox.blogspot.com/2005/05/mighty-thor-362-marvel-comics-1985.html" rel="nofollow">one of his absolute best stories</a>, so that you can see why us old-time comics junkies started salivating upon reading his name.
